Im operating my Flex remotely with paddless and N1MM keying via Morconi. Morconi side tone fed via PC Mic input. Seemless!

WOW.. What a nice unit you made Max!! I bought the SD card holder this AM and changed the microchip programming to the local IP of the radio and Iambic keying and VIOLA! Love the built in keyer and speed control and came in very handy during the weekends cw contest.

It now interfaces to 3rd party software too. A great home or travel keyer that directly connects to the Flex via LAN or WAN without any further interface.

I have a remote station and having tried all the available remote CW solutions available on the Internet, never found anything that could precisely transmit what I was sending on a paddle. Previously, the best remote CW solution was the well known hardware units from Sweden - they are very good but an overkill for just sending CW, are complicated to configure and lack flexibility. Then I discovered Morconi by Max I8NHJ/N5NHJ - this provided the answer! An inexpensive, portable, easy to build project with all instructions provided. I've used both the 'Flex' and the 'All Rigs' versions and can vouch they are just as good as the expensive hardware solution - Morconi not only provides great paddle support but also easily integrates to contest software. This is the way to go.
